A soft-spoken, but friendly, bishonen, Ryou is quickly pulled into Yugi's group of friends by Jonouchi.  (These same qualities get him pulled away by his new fan club for a tour of the school.)  Despite his friendly demeanor, he harbors a sad secret and a Sennen Item, the Sennen Ring!   The Ring was a gift from his father, but since he's met Yugi, even stranger things start happening to him.  Ryou found himself forced to move from school to school (before finally ending up in Domino High) when all his friends kept falling into comas after playing his favorite game:  Monster World with him.  Determined to help, Yugi and his friends decide to play too.
Will they be able to break Ryou's strange curse or will they end up as it's next victims?
